Which candidates have the $$$ ?
I have heard Dean, Clark have raised most, Kerry loaned himself, etc.
Anything changing?

1. Clark has *my* money! :)
And Kerry is self financed. Must be nice to be fabulously wealthy
and be able to by whatever you want.

12. Not entirely.
I read on this forum that Kerry's third largest contributor is Time Warner.

4. Dean has a LOT in the bank.
$15-18 million cash-on-hand is the best guess.

6. He's not cutting back.
It was just now on CNN that he's holding off buying ADDITIONAL time, until he sees what happens Tuesday, so that he can buy more time in targeted states.

7. Kerry hit his goal of raising $1 million in 7 days in 4 days this week.
So it's coming in pretty fast. I don't know how much is on hand but Kerry's campaign had millions when he took out that loan.

10. I sent Kerry $100 a few weeks ago...
... almost certain I was flushing it down the toilet, but I've been very pleasantly suprised since then. I sent him another $100 since then.

Other than that, I understand that he had a great surge in revenue since Iowa. Perhaps my money was not so wasted.

11. Josh marshall sez kerry will skip Febr states

http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/week_2004_01_25.html#002487
A major backdrop to this contest in New Hampshire continues to be the fact that the two candidates with the most wind at their back -- Kerry and Edwards -- are also the ones who have the fewest resources in place to contest the primaries which will come rapidly, week after week, after next Tuesday.
Dean, of course, has spent the last couple months using all those Internet dollars to build up organizations and infrastructure in states across the country. And Clark, though to a lesser extent, has done the same.
The shorthand you hear from reporters is that Kerry has "nothing" on the ground in those states. And that can't be quite true. But after Kerry's town hall meeting in Manchester on Friday one of his top aides told us that he would probably not even compete in all seven of the states that vote on February 3rd. When asked which ones they'd contest, he told us they were "nowhere near figuring that out."

Seems CFR was the way to go after all...;-)
