About this 85+% reelection stat that they keep quoting for Brown..
How many people do you know that mark down for a judge on the ballot and don't know a blessed thing about them beyond the fact that they haven't heard anything bad about them? This stat is bogus.

1. I believe she was the only person running in that race.
And the actual stat was 76%, if I'm not mistaken.

2. I'd like to see the CA ballot she got this percentage on.
I bet it was tweny pages long and her election was buried so far back that only the fundies and organized right wingers found her.

4. Uncontested cannibalization
of our American way of press reports. How many times will we hear GOPers announce "she won 80% of the vote" and NOT ONE SO-CALLED REPORTER bothers/dares/dreams to mention that she was uncontested? The line should be, "she was the only candidate for the judgeship but 20% of Californians chose NONE OF THE ABOVE. Why was that? We can show you why."
