1. could he take his own state?
We might like Feingold's positions, but does he have a realistic chance of winning? Gore and Edwards didn't take their own states when they ran for national office. Could Feingold take Wisconsin as a national candidate?

Wait one second. Wasn't he one of two democratic senators who thought John Ashcroft was an okay guy and voted to confirm him as attorney general?:(

4. that would have to be one of his only mistakes...
one which I believe he openly admits to being a mistake now.

That'll be ancient history by 2008.
