Can Someone explain this to me? And sign petition!

I do not know what they are planning to do. Are the Democratic senators going to READ each and every petition so as to create a filibuster on the filibuster? This is one of several emails I've gotten about ongoing filibustering - the initial one being to filibuster colleges and other public places.

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW THIS TYPE OF PROTESTING IS GOING TO WORK. PLEASE SOMEONE DUMB IT DOWN FOR ME!

Anything is worth a try at this point,but knowing the repuke THUGS they will probably get their way anyway. I hope if they win this,it will put the final nail in the coffin for their party.I can't see how much more of their thuggery and blatant power hungry madness is going to survive. This festering boil on our society has got to come to a head and burst real soon. We are all teetering on the edge of a cliff,but if enough people will wake up from their comas we can stop this rightwingnut takeover in it's tracks.America....WAKE UP!!!!!!
