1. I do - but all the polls say that Blair is going to take it again
so I am just waiting for the inevitable.

2. I do
They're our cousins and we should care. My friend Nick is from the UK and he'll be glued to CSPAN all night. I don't have cable but I'll be keeping up on it online.

:hi:

3. I care and have mixed feelings
Blair has endangered his party with his participation in IraqNam. If he loses, it'll be bad for Britain and the conservatives take over, who apparently love IraqNam.

I would love to see Blair spanked out of office and be tried for war crimes, but his party's loss would be bad for the country, so its a mixed bag.

I guess the best outcome would be a squeaker of a victory for Blair's party, to let him know that he almost screwed the pooch

4. I do, but alas, it appears that Blair will win again.
What are your feelings about the election? How do your friends and family feel about the election? Are people feeling apathetic to the point of staying home and not voting? It does look as though Mr. Kennedy is working in the offense:

Is there any chance that he will be successful with the aforementioned?

7. Please stop with this "Alas, it appears that Blair will win again"
Blair is a fool and a liar.

But given the choice of Michael Howard or Tony Blair I'd vote for the lying fool Blair ahead of the devious scum Howard any day.

Would anyone in the US seriously refuse to vote for an unpopular Democratic president knowing full well that the other option was to allow a right-wing nut case win?

The Conservative party ruined this country and managed to sell off half the country while they were in charge. If they had the opportunity they would destroy the NHS here along with most forms of social security type benefits.

There are far worse things in British politics than Tony Blair. Most of them are in the Conservative party.

5. I care. It'll suck if Lib Dems play Nader to Tory's "Bush-FL-2000"
Remember Reagan/Bush-Thatcher? You thought those were dark days for Democracy?

Well, a Tory government might be just the thing Bush needs to fuck up south and central America and the EU, to boot.

6. Blair should win again
Either way you look at it Britons lose.

Both Blair and Howard support the Iraq War and upgrading Britain's nuclear arsenal.
