Make your prediction for tonight.
Dean and Kerry will do well tonight.

Clark will get too many military questions and sound a bit tired answering them.

Edwards will remain positive.

Kucinich and Sharpton will both be on the attack, possibly at a hurt Dean.

Lieberman, will try to point out the differences between himself and all the candidates and wont be able to NOT use Deans name.

With that being said I think Lieberman will pick up 3 points, mainly from Dean. Overall I think the primaries come down with Kerry winning by 7, Dean and Clark neck and neck, Edwards falls closer to Lieberman but with a good enough margin to keep him a strong 4th. Kucinich ends up with 5% and sharpton gets 1%.

No matter who does well and who does not so well, candidate supporters on DU will still claim their guy won and the guy they like the least lost.

14. Actually Clark will fail badly
because the candidates who attended the Iowa debates will be questioning (ESPECIALLY Lieberman) Clark as to why he didn't even bother to show up.

Clark: uhh.. umm... err.. well... (stutters badly)

9. My predictions:
Dean will out do all expectations, make a strong stand and powerful comeback. And he will keep his cool.

Kerry will try to look presidential and above the fray, but look haughty, pampered, and stiff.

Edwards will be a wall-flower, offer nothing exciting or adventurous.

Clark will fumble, look out of his element, overly defensive.

Lieberman will be the most aggressive, and the least well recieved.

Kucinich will will be solid, logical... and dismissed.

Sharpton will be quick, witty, and once again steal the show.

15. My predictions
I just saw Dean on C-Span doing a townhall today and he is really sick, so I am not expecting much of anything out of him today.

I think Lieberman will continue to try to attack Dean, but will be ignored by everyone.

I think Sharpton will attack Dean with a worthless question and be ignored by everyone.

I think Edwards will stay positive.

I think Clark will only get military questions and a stupid question about why he only talks about foreign policy.

I think Kucinich will have the funniest line of the night.

I think Kerry will run over his amount of time as always and ramble on and on and on.

I think the questions will be horrible and the pundits will determine that this debate proves that Dean is finished, Kucinich is a "fringe" candidate, Kerry is a Mass. liberal, Edwards is a lawyer and they will all forget about Sharpton and Lieberman.

16. the whole world's watching
how would you feel if your candidate neither attacked, nor was attacked, during the debate??

would you think your candidate a. did well b. should have been more aggressive ??

my prediction: very little dem vs. dem attacking ... the focus will be on bush and his demented, packed with lies SOTU ...

and the winner of the debate will be ... the candidate that does the best job highlighting the endless lies from last year's SOTU ...

more and more people i talk to are starting to get interested in this year's election ... with the added excitement (i wish it weren't so) of "the horse race", we have a real opportunity to get our message out ... if our message is that Clark's military experience is better than Kerry's or that Edwards is a really nice guy and is "keeping it positive" or that "Dean didn't have any blacks in his cabinet", please understand this might help one candidate or another but it won't help elect democrats over republicans ...

stop the madness ... my prediction: all our guys rise to the occasion and keep the focus on bush and their vision for the country ...
