Drudge and other right wing prosties are posting links to this audio tape to support the claim that this poor being is alive. Listen to it and make your own conclusions. I think this will backfire in the faces of the Reich wing perverts, opportunists, and cold-blooded killers if it is heard widely..

7. I heard this audio last night...

It is revolting that this audio is being characterized as anything but random, involuntary noises made by someone without a cerebral cortex.

The parents are asserting that these moans are Terri's pleas for help and evidence of her pain. You can hear her father repeatedly asking Terri, "Does that hurt? Are you in pain?" as she yowls out a continuous stream of jerky groans.

I have come to the conclusion that these parents are sick. Who would showcase these very private, embarrassing sounds emanating from their daughter? This is beyond comprehension.

I heard those moans. They were primal. She sounded like an animal. I feel sorry for Terri because she is the child of two very dysfunctional people--who are robbing her of her dignity--because of their own sick issues.

Her parents are myopic, selfish people who have lost their ability to operate from a position of strength, compassion and love. They have become pathological.

I hope people stop assigning meaning to this audio.

This woman is gone. The tape--which should have never graced my ears in the first place--is evidence that Terri is no more.

...and you are right--you would hope that people would hear it and conclude that Terri is gone.

However, people see and hear what they want to see and hear.

Her parents hear cries for help. Her parents actually said that she was communicating displeasure because her feeding tube had been removed. Later that day, her father said, on camera to CNN, that he told Terri they were going to get her some breakfast later on--and that Terri responded positively to that statement.

These people are not helping. They are completely out of their heads.

I feel for them and have compassion for them--because of this situation. However, their daughter is suffering because of their denial and because of their self-made delusions.

They've propped their daughter up on a stage. Would Terri want that? Would Terri want herself showcased on CNN, to people who view this situation as entertainment? Would she want her primal wailing and moaning blared on the Matt Drudge radio program?

These parents are contemptible. They are not thinking rationally.

Is it any wonder that Terri developed an eating disorder while living with them?

She's brain dead. If we accept the fact that she's trying to comunicate, then we would be killing someone who is a thinking, living person, not a vegetable. That would be euthenasia. I don't think we want to travel down this path.

and selfish. They seem to have left reality a long time ago when this all happened. They first thought Schiavo would split his money with them when they won it. So ever since that it seems like they're long gone. I wonder if it's all just an act sometimes it's so bizarre.
