Mr. Cronkite has my sympathy. After 65 years of marriage (!), there will be a void that can't be filled.
(I assume it was a "traditional" marriage as opposed to a Clinton-style marriage.)

He's also a black-hearted traitor who should have been publically hung for treason after he lied about the Tet Offensive on the nightly news. R.I.P. to his wife, but this "modest", "good-hearted" "man" #8 speaks of is a vile, communist sympathizing anti-American TRAITOR. If Walter wants to join his wife, I'd be happy to help him. Shame on anyone who defends this blackguard.

So were Adolph and Eva. No doubt there's some on this thread who would have extended a big, virtual hug of sympathy to the animal-loving vegetarian (would have had to have been quick, though, as he followed moments later).
