CA Healthcare costs bill should go nationwide ! AB1627

A recent healthcare cost bill went into effect in CA (written by Rep Dario Fromer D-Glendale) which requires all hospitals to disclose their billing practices 'charge lists'. This kind of openness will expose much of the pricing madness - the variations are incredible.
One thing I find missing however is what doctors salaries/compensations are in the entire scheme of things. Wages for nurses etc. are easily found but the doctor's share of the picture is quite cloudy to say the least.
