GOP Bigs Caught in 'Film' Flam
Complete idiots:

February 18, 2005 -- ALBANY — State Republican officials yesterday had egg on their faces after peddling a photo they erroneously said proved that convicted terrorist supporter Lynne Stewart was a Democratic Party activist.
State GOP Chairman Stephen Minarik and party Executive Director Ryan Moses gave The Post a photo taken at a Democratic protest outside last summer's Republican National Convention.

They claimed it showed Stewart, a civil-rights lawyer, pictured with Jesse Jackson, filmmaker Michael Moore, actor Danny Glover and two Democratic councilmembers.

The problem is, the woman in the picture isn't Stewart — it's Leslie Cagan, of United for Peace and Justice, which organized the rally.

1. Do the repubs really care at this point?

The idea is already out there. Democrats = terrorists, up is down, wrong is right, etc...

3. Yep. The truth doesn't matter, particularly when the MSM only
concerns itself with the allegation and the partisan reactions. Typically, the allegation and the democratic response are seen as having equal weight, even if the democratic response is conclusive proof that the allegation is BS. The whole structure of the "debate" is corrupt.

2. I would bet that Repuglycans couldn't pick Michael Moore
out of a lineup now that he's shaved and worn the camouflage outfit - Jay Leno said he looked downright Republican!
