How Will Bush Admin Tactics Change From Iraq To Take On Iran?
Edited on Sun Feb-06-05 05:03 PM by Hissyspit
So, assuming Bush wants "regime change" or occupation, etc. of Iran, to which many indicators seem to point, how will they change their tactics to get this/these to happen? How many sheep remain in U.S. population/U.S. government/Europe/World who will go along?

1. Israel will tip the scales and bomb Iran first. Then Iran will wipe out
the military in Iraq and our lead will get us all upset that these people had the nerve to attack us (forgetting that they were attacked first) and we will then find enough reserve units to invade Iran.

2. I think that if we use military forces in Iran
it will be air forces only. I think even this administration is smart enough to relaize that committing ground troops would be a mistake.

3. There is no way to do this. Although they probably will still try to.

There is absolutely no gain, whatsoever, from doing this for anyone except Al Queda recruiters, even for the most cynical.

4. Gawd I hope it doesn't happen
but if it does, I hope it's after the people in Iran, if they want it, rise up against their leaders. Only then should we help. Not before, no matter what capabilities they have.

Why can we have nukes but we don't want anyone else to?

5. I think they will try to get the Iraqis to kill the Iranians

They will say that Iraq's new democracy has asked America to please help protect them from Iran and Syria.

6. Why Change Tactics? He'll Just Recycle the Old Tactics
They worked so well last time. :(
We will be attacked by "terrorists".
Boosh** will blame Iran.

7. Well, I'm wondering how the old tactics can be pulled off
...with more skepticism, nowadays. But, I am assuming more skepticism. Where will the 'terrorist' attack come from and/or what form will it take? The more we speculate on these issues, the more we may be able to take them on. Maybe.

9. What Scepticism?

Most people still believe Boosh** was actually elected both times.

8. The plans according to Mossad
Both Iraq and Iran, after Afghanistan, were politically arranged to try to hit Israel. That would take the other muslim countries out of the frying pan but they would be behind them all the way if either succeeded and did a job on the US as well. Well, the job on the US is already done and the trigger is still there for Israel. That trigger, like going to Iraq, will be pulled by an idiot! Know anyone who fits?!!!
