My immediate *take* on all of this is that Mattis is headed for immediate *retirement* -- so quickly that Mattis won't feel the door hit him on his *posterior.* However, the image of America decreases, yet, again, in the eyes of the world which, in turn, raises the question: How far down the destructive path of negativity can the George Walker Bush Administration take America?
