How Far To The Right Do We Move The Middle?
Edited on Wed Nov-10-04 08:20 PM by demwing
Before the freaking middle is the left?

Does this make ANY sense? NO! Its nonsense! Jibber-Jabber!

Look where we are now. Howard Dean, by all means a moderate, is labeled a radical lefty. We run John Kerry, war hero and former prosecuter, personally against abortion, goes to church multiple times per week, publically against gay marriage, and he gets labled as the most liberal Senator on the Hill

Why should we move FURTHER to the RIGHT?

It Makes NO SENSE! Can't we see that no move to the right will ever be far enough?

We have to take the left, and redefine the center, way the hell that way

Get it?

5. We are what we are, and any move the party makes in one
direction or the other to gain more votes, we lose just as many votes on the other end.

We are 55 million voters, and we will never all have the same experience, perspective, priorities, and views. The American people do fit so neatly into 2 packages.

I hear ya, demwing. And I hope that the essence of the party is way over there, and when we stop trying to pander to this group or that demopgraphic or state, we'll see that. And BE that.
