Isn't all this morals fundie influence/take over a little overrated?
Sure, it made the difference in this election, but it was already very close due to the fear factor crap and the constant slams against Kerry's good name. I have got to believe that most of the chimp vote was based on a belief that chimp was a better "kick ass tough guy" and the perception that Kerry was a weak flip flop northern Yankee.

If the fundies don't get what they want - and I don't think that chimp can actually deliver anything like that shit, and the rest of the policies continue to fail, chimp could very well be a very unpopular guy and the rw not so attractive in a year or two.
