Junior's like a pimp taking one of his girls out for a coke after beating
her up. That's what he sounded like when he addressed those of us who'd voted for Kerry.

"Come on baby, ya know I love you. Hey, that's a good girl. Aah, don't worry, that'll go down in a couple of days; it's not gonna leave a mark. I wouldn't do that to my pretty girl. How's that soda? Good, huh? Ya know nobody loves you like I do; you're the one. We're gonna make a lot of money, you an' me, I'm gonna take care a ya good."

"Now get your ass back on the street, it's almost sundown."

What a despicable human being; when I hear him being soft and conciliatory, it's just the most transparent vileness imaginable. He's going to attack on every front now, destroying all that's good about this country and it'll make our heads spin.

2. Good.
(I'm on the West Coast, so we won't get that for another 2 plus hours.)

4. "battered country syndrome?"
it sounds about right, since the sense that it is the fault of the enabler actually promotes a sense of free will in the aggrieved party
