Everything seemed to be going perfect yesterday until West Virginia was called as soon as the polls closed there. Anyone else agree?

3. The Northeast checked in...
We picked up Illinois and then the Red Storm began and didn't let up until Pennsylvania went blue. By then, Ohio was sinking, I started the death watch.

4. When I saw 4 repubs on 4 diffferent channels
questioning the exit polls in FL and OH. "They polled too many women, we will win both OH and FL". And we agreed.

5. When the networks started giving Bush the red states and holding back
on the blue states for Kerry. I started to worry. Then when Bush called the reporters to the WH, my heart sank. It was a replay of 2000.

13. You are so right it was an identical replay
As soon as they didn't call New Hampshire last night and appeared to only want to announce the "red states" I knew what they were up to. Same shit right down to the visit of bullshit watching TV with the family.

6. Kerry didn't do as well in the I-4 corridor (FL) as Gore.
Also, I could be wrong but it seems like he didn't carry Miami-Dade as heavily, as well.

14. That's when I knew it was over ...
Since turnout was heavy in that area, I knew that they had gotten their vote out.

7. The minute they showed the Bush family
smugly sitting in our White House, I had flashbacks of 2000 when he whined that Jeb said he'd win Florida. It was creepy.

8. When Lisa Meyers for NBC stood there and said that the exit polling
wasn't matching up with the votes being cast. I knew then that Karl Rove was stealing the election.

when Ohio's results for the anti-gay marriage constitutional amendment began rolling in. I just knew it was over -- that issue, IMHO, had devastatingly widespread results. And I personally apologize for West Virginia. I live in our state's largest "city" - so I had false hope. Our results came in quickly - the rural areas succumbed to the lies .. :-(

16. What was pissing me off was PA....
They had Kerry WAY up there all night, but refused to call it for him....meanwhile, they were calling states for shrubya with 1-2 percentage points very early on..... I knew then that they were itching to call it for Bush......I think ABC hung on to Ohio longer than anyone...

I was thinking the same thing about why they weren't calling PA. By the time they called it (whenever that was), I had already gone to bed angry and depressed.
