new strategy
from here on out, we need to come together and focus on state elections. Particularly southern states. Just think of all the time and energy we have put into this election. Imagine if you northerners could help us out down here.
By controlling the congress and the senate, it does not matter who the damn president is!
That's where the power is people.

1. Screw the south.

The NE and Pacific Coast should secede. Let the south become an evangelical equivalent of Afghanistan.

We pump so much of our tax money in there and for what: DeLay, Bush, Lott? Fuck it, give me my money back.

On edit: you know, this is what makes me laugh about the red states. Voting for Bush, posturing about the "no government in my backyard" bullshit and the tax cuts. They live on government damn largesse! Farmers, the military, welfare, these states are leeches on neck of the West and the NE and yet, all this talk of Norther elitism! Fuck, you don't like my money, go ahead and secede, thump the bible, have a litter you can't support.

As a New Yorker, I'm pretty fucking bitter tonight, if you can't tell.

2. no, well, not entirely, we need "permanent campaign"
and we need someone to head it. I vote we talk Dean into it. Maybe with Clinton too. We each agree to have a donation withdrawn from our bank accounts each month. We fund think tanks to get our ideas out, to take back the word liberal, we fund a federalist society to take the bench back.

Can you imagine what the supreme court is gonna look like in 4 years?

We might lose abortion.
