CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) - With the second and final week of
early voting underway, more than 168,000 Nevadans have cast
ballots in major counties - and Democrats remain in the lead in
turnout.
In Clark, Washoe, Carson City and Douglas counties, with 91
percent of all Nevada voters, 168,703 people had voted through
midday Monday. That included 73,538 Democrats and 70,637
Republicans. The rest are nonpartisans or splinter-party
members.

Well well, some polls for Nevada seem to be not quite correct.

even though it's not really a critical state that's expected to go to Kerry, nice that we might have an early advantage.

to over a three percent lead for Kerry if it holds for a week. Any lead is a good lead, as all you have to do to get all the electoral votes is to win the election by ONE VOTE.

Also is an indication as to the accurateness of the polls taken in Nevada which had Bush a good five points ahead of Kerry in most cases. (these polls were of course, republican heavy)
150,000 ODD VOTERS is still a rather large sample. It is a poll of sorts indicating that more peope in Nevada are choosing Kerry. If 150,000 people have made this choice already, the trend is more than likely to continue
