The Election and Jobs
Has anyone noticed that all of the talking heads on cable news seem to be assuming that the economy is going to create substantial jobs down the road in reference to the election when last month there were only 1000 jobs added to the economy. Of course, the *administration continues to talk up the economy and the talking heads are helping.
Historically we are in uncharted waters here, simultaneously running huge trade and budget deficits. Every month we are losing thousands of manufacturing jobs. I'm starting to get a feeling that the war isn't really going to be that much of a factor, If jobs are produced we lose ;if not we win.

1. Oh, it's sickening. One major "news" rag (don't recall which) has a cover
on the economic "Boom."

Propaganda. Pure and simple. Very simple.

If you're rich and have lots of stocks, maybe boom.
Otherwise, bust.
