1. My comment....

pony up the cash and make the ad a 90 second spot...run it nationwide. It's devasting.

2. I would change the script just a tiny bit.

State that "Over 1000 soldiers have died and ten thousand have been wounded in Iraq because Bush said there were weapons of mass destruction there."

In general, just show more footage of Bush revealing his true character. Footage of him is the best argument against his presidency.

and does the video clip of bush help show why she feels and says what she does ?

excluding the right wing bush loyalists and those who already hate bush. how do you think the undecided, non commited types feel watching the ad ?

one of the problems i saw with some of the swift boat ads like the ones with those woman who are relatives of pows was that it was hard to feel sorry for these women. they came across as a bunch of cold angry hags intent on revenge, rather than hurt women seeking justice. the fact that it was so long ago when kerry was young makes it's impact less.

i have biases of course, but from the viewing of this that sister of the soldier who died looks hurt and disgusted/shocked at how bush joked about wmd. and the way i felt was that she had every right to be. the video clip of bush joking about wmd helps do this. bush comes off horrible in that.

All of the swing states. This is a powerful, deeply moving ad. Seriously...this ad will help seal it for Kerry.

10. A not-so-useful comment.

There was something unsettling about the edit of the sister talking. It's a quick profile to 3/4 switch which throws me off for some reason.

Then again, I just got finished watching a Jean-Luc Goddard film, so that could be the problem.

should be one about the 'trifecta' joke too. and a montage of him LAUGHING at every question in the last debate too.
