Please List Republicans who are voting for Kerry
I'll start with John Eisenhower. Ike's son. Former General and Ambassador to Belgium. Lifelong Republican who is not only supporting John Kerry but changed his party affiliation from Republican to Independent.

Here's a link to his reasons...... It's quite interesting.

Please list other public republicans who will either not vote for AWOL/moron or will support Sen. Kerry.

4. Great list. Should Ron Reagan be added? Also, I heard and ex EPA
head under Nixon endorse Kerry. Think his name was Pete Peterson. Was the 2nd ever EPA head. Is/Was a lifelong Republican and furious with AWOL/moron.

9. Russell Train was EPA head under Nixon and Ford and is supporting Kerry
He was the 2nd ever EPA head (Bill Ruckelshouse was 1st, I think) Nixon started the EPA, BTW....

Train is a Medal of Freedom winner.

Russell Train
1973 – 1977 Head of EPA for Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford
1988 Co-chair of Conservationists for Bush
2004 John Kerry Supporter

It is tough to be pro-environment and pro-George Bush, even if you are a solid Republican. Just ask Russell Train.

Russell Train, former head of EPA under Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford and former co-chair of Conservationists for W’s father in 1988, announced today that he will vote for John Kerry for President.

According to Train, *“It’s almost as if the motto of the administration in power today in Washington is not environmental protection, but polluter protection. I find this deeply disturbing.”*

The contrast between John Kerry and George Bush is stark. John Kerry has a 92% lifetime LCV rating and supports new environmental technologies that will make us less reliable on oil imports and create new jobs. George Bush has the worst environmental record of our lifetime with policies that protect polluters instead of protecting our environment.

FWIW, I think Donald Trump is a Kerry fan, too.

Like I said, fwiw.

5. We Michiganders proudly point at Milliken
tho' he's listed in sandnsea's list I thought him worthy of a mention of his own. He is a class act and has spoken out about the venom hate-spewing tactics of the R's of late. Now he has come out with an op-ed piece endorsing Kerry.

Rock on Governor Milliken!

12. Former Sen. Marlow Cook, R-KY
I shall cast my vote for John Kerry come Nov 2.

I have been, and will continue to be, a Republican. But when we as a party send the wrong person to the White House, then it is our responsibility to send him home if our nation suffers as a result of his actions. I fall in the category of good conservative thinkers, like George F. Will, for instance, who wrote: "This administration cannot be trusted to govern if it cannot be counted on to think and having thought, to have second thoughts."

I say, well done George Will, or, even better, from the mouth of the numero uno of conservatives, William F. Buckley Jr.: "If I knew then what I know now about what kind of situation we would be in, I would have opposed the war."

14. My Dad
My Dad (retired CEO) voted for Bush in 2000 and, although it took him a while, eventually (being a reality-based person) recognized the truth and is now strongly opposed to Bush and has already voted for Kerry (absentee ballot).

15. Not exactly a Kerry vote, but he's a WV elector who won't vote for W
Richie Robb

And yes, he's a member of the electoral college. He likely won't vote for Bush.

16. that is bigger than any of them
If there is a 269-269 tie, Robb may be convinced to vote for Kerry instead of just abstaining and letting Congress appoint * for a second term.
