Final 2000 Poll Results... compare and contrast
with reality.

With all the polls being bounced about, this is what the final polls in 2K looked like. Draw your own conclusions and enjoy.

1. most of the final polls were within the m.o.e.
what makes me suspicious is the disparity between the actual results and the polls a mere week or two out...

I'd like greater minds than mine to address my concern that pollsters can "play" with numbers in polls further from the election and than get it "right" in their final pre-election polls...

If their final pre-election poll is not in line with the actual vote their credibility will be in shatters...

4. 2000
Think about how many college kids aren't being considered in the 2004 polling because of the enormous increase in cell phone usage!

They aren't being factored in at all. But I'll bet they'll make a difference when the final votes are tallied. :)
