John Kerry has won the election

It struck me tonight that I had just watched a near virtual replay of the Kennedy- Nixon debate where JFK was confident and sure and Tricky Dick came off as a nervous, sweating mess. Ladies and Gentlmen, I'm proud to introduce to you the next President of the United States, John F. Kerry!

1. I think you just might be right...
This election has been a whole series of ups and downs, confidence and worry. But I've always felt deep down that we are going to win it. And tonight I've never been more optimistic.

America will be America again!

2. Kerry Even Quoted JFK
It made me well up to hear "God's work on earth must truly be our own." I can remember Jack Kennedy saying that -- it's one of my favorite quotes of his.

Can we DARE believe in a deliverance from that arrogant little jerk?

3. THANK you!
The majority of folks around here have been so brow-beaten that they're afraid to stand up and take it.

9. People are Afraid to speak...
I'm not American, but a Canadian dangerous drug country citisen (holy hell, when was the last time you heard That word - citisen, not Consumer), but have a friend who travels a bit, has connections, is an artist, and he says, she sez they say, They Are Afraid To Speak down south.

8. I only hope
enough people watched instead of watching baseball. Insanity rules is right if they are fiddling(watching baseball) while America burns.

5. No. We WILL win this election, but we have not won.
We will deliver a Landslide on November 2nd, but if we slack of for even a moment, the GOP will find a way to get in the way.

It's about MORALE, and it's about LEADERSHIP.

13. Kerry is Very Very...
I had my doubts about him at the onset, I thought he wasn't 'firey' enough, or whatever. But everytime I hear him speak, as well as his VP, I feel clearly that this was the best choice. He is absolutely Perfect - it's the rw idiots and their insidious powers I worry about..

11. Dude, you are just bull goose loony...
I apologize in advance for the pun.

Why do some DUers have such a difficult time with tense?

"Kerry WILL win the election", not "Kerry HAS won the election".

...unless you've come back from the future to give us advance notice.

15. THere is still work to do...
As much as all like to think JK has gone over the top, the actual voting isn't for almost three weeks. WE MUST REMAIN STRONG, NOT COCKY, AS WE NEAR ELECTION DAY!

16. Counting chickens before they hatch
The 1960 election was one of the closest in history. Kennedy's margin of victory, the popular vote was less than 200,000. Also, those who heard the Kennedy-Nixon debates on the radio rated Nixon as the winner.

The election will be won on Nov. 2, and is too close to call at this point. Don't be sanguine about this election and don't encourage others to be so. That leads to people not getting out and voting.

I should have added *if people are truly paying attention* we have won. As dumb as a lot of people in this country have gotten, I have no doubt there is a lot of work left to do.
