Kerry just EXPLAINED why he voted the way he did on late-term abortion ... and Bush turns around and says "I don't understand ... you can run but you can't hide." Who's hiding? Certainly not Kerry!!!

But I'm pro-choice, so...I can see how it wouldn't appeal to a hard core lifer who wants no money used for abortion. Odd that no pro-lifer has ever objected to tax money used for war...

I thought the follow-up was excellent, though, Kerry showing the complexity of the issue and Bush ignoring it.

19. Good answer BUT,

He should have said that NO tax dollars are used for abortions. I am 100% sure that is true for federal monies....need to research whether any state medicaid funds are available for that use.
