CNN Carlos Watson: Bush only needs one good line...
Edited on Fri Oct-08-04 06:39 PM by MazeRat7
to erase his performance in the last debate. This is from the same guy I heard right after the first debate say "Bush seemed to have command of the details tonight" (my quote might be slightly off, but that is basically it.)

So there you have it... its not about "what" gets said tonight.. it's about who has the best 1 liner.....*grrrrrrrrr

WTF ?? How can someone be that far off base yet carry the title "Political Analyst" ?
Any suggestions on a new title for this fool ?

1. All it takes is one good line
to run the country?

7. Carlos
I hate that guy. He's as sniveling as the rest of them. He thinks he's good looking or something and is always smiling but he's fake and another GOPer whore.

5. It is utterly ridiculous that the bar can be so low for a sitting US
President. It just boggles my mind - the level of ignorance, stupidity and rank incompetence. Ugh!!!!!!

6. That is so inane!
Bush's performance in general hurt him.. but it was Kerry's performance that made the biggest difference. That guy's a moron.. One great line?? I guess he means that Bush sucked so badly last time that even the corporate media pundits couldn't find ANY sound bite they could play, ad nauseum, to prop up their clueless candidate. Guess the guy doesn't want to give up those 200K+ income tax cuts..

11. That's the same load of shit that
Tim Russert has been trying to sell to anyone who will listen. I guess they got their TP's from BushCo and are all lined up to declare victory for * immediately following the debate even if he goes into full meltdown mode like he did a week ago. Fucking media whores!

excuse to argue how honest he is, how likeable he is. He should just say "Yes I've screwed everything up, and yes I'm really an idiot, but I'll stick to it, right to the end."

I think Americans deserve a little more than 1 good line.

And if that makes them happy, then I give up!

14. He's an idiot. He was asked last night by the news anchor about the new
Nobel Peace Prize winner and he didn't even know it had been given out yet, and had no idea who had won.

17. Today's comment is idiotic, but Carlos Watson nailed the VP debate
He immediately said it was not a question who won, but which candidate connected with undecideds. "I think John Edwards did a better job of that tonight."

For literally hours, that was the only astute cable TV analysis I heard.

That link was posted on CNN right next to the link to the poll results which were something like 75% to 23%. What an asshole.
