Two Palestinians shot dead trying to inflitrate Israel from Gaza
Edited on Tue Oct-21-03 10:34 AM by Herschel
Two Palestinians were shot dead as they tried to infiltrate Israel from the Gaza Strip late Monday.

Israeli troops killed the two men, whose identities was not immediately known, in Palestinian territory to the east of Gaza City, close to the security fence which divides the Strip from the Jewish state, Palestinian and Israeli sources said Tuesday.

It is always well publicized when the IDF fails and a homicide bomber explodes himself. Yet how many lives are saved?

It doesn't state anywhere their intents nor their possession. So they were shot only for infiltrating or is there more to it? The article clearly doesn't say anything beyond them being Palestinian and crossing to Israel..

2. Stopping infiltrators
is part of the mission. The intentiones here are not yet clear. I suspect they were not good.

6. If their intentions were not clear
why kill them? Just because YOU suspect they were up to no good is hardly a valid reason to shoot people :eyes:

7. Their intentions and actions are not known
by you and me. The circumstances will be investigated. I believe the shooting will be approved. Perhaps not. We will see.

3. "Infiltrators"
"Infiltrators" on one side, "Occupiers" on the other side.

Good enough excuse to murder whomever you please? Yes, if you're the IDF or Hamas.

5. They were killed in Palestinian territory...
and there is no mention of what they did to invite being shot. Does being near the fence automatically earn you a death sentence?

I could understand if they had actually crossed over, but they hadn't, so what justification is there for shooting them?
