Yom Kippur War II
http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=JPost/JPArticle/ShowFull&cid=1065627285456

What is the connection between the Palestinian suicide bomber who slaughtered entire families in Haifa's Maxim Restaurant and an Islamic Jihad base near Damascus attacked by the IAF?

Simple. The axis of Muslim terror leads from Teheran through Damascus and Beirut to the Palestinians in Gaza and Ramallah. Similarly, the axis of al-Qaida terror went through Afghanistan and Iraq to the suicide bombers who perpetrated the 9/11 massacre in New York and Washington.

The arms ship Karine A captured by Israel in a brilliant operation in January 2002 in the Red Sea was on its way from Iran to Yasser Arafat. Other arms shipments to Gaza captured or sunk in the Mediterranean came from Syria and Lebanon and originated in Iran.

The orders, and frequently the financial backing, for terror attacks by Hamas and Islamic Jihad come from Iran and Syria. The suicide bomber is only the end of this production line.

It was clear on Yom Kippur 2000, after Arafat rejected the absurd territorial concessions offered by prime minister Ehud Barak, that the Palestinians want to force Israel to give in to all their demands with the aim of bringing about the annihilation of the Jewish State.

In the wake of the Maxim restaurant terror attack, Israel finds itself in a struggle I would label "Yom Kippur War II."
..............................................................

MY FAVORITE LINE:

"The suicide bomber is only the end of this production line."

1. Sounds like more neo-con nonsense to me...
The orders, and frequently the financial backing, for terror attacks by Hamas and Islamic Jihad come from Iran and Syria.

Of course just like the bullshit about WMD in Iraq, idiots like this can never come up with any credible evidence to prove that orders for terrorist attacks come from Iran and Syria...

2. I agree with your favorite line
Now (if US is really serious about ending terror) the factories themselves will be put out of business. Of course the culture of terror must be stopped as well, ie schools and camps that glorify murder. BTW, I was listening to Israeli radio yesterday and it seems quite a few Israelis think the bombing of Syria was on Bush's orders.

3. So you think it'd be okay to carpet-bomb the Palestinians?
Of course the culture of terror must be stopped as well, ie schools and camps that glorify murder.

Last night you posted that you believe that the Palestinian people glorify murder. Bombing the crap out of them would solve that problem, eh? ;)

4. Clearly, a lot of Palestinians support that attitude for Israel
Look at the support for the suicide bombers. Look at the society that protects the terror groups. Look at the Palestinian leadership which supports, backs, tolerates and endorses such activity.

7. Muddle...
Y'know, you keep on making claims but you never back up anything you say with credible evidence (that means no crap from ultra right-wing online sites). I want to see some proof that the PA endorses suicide bombings....

Y'know, I don't know if yr unwilling or unable to understand the underlying reasons why more than half the Palestinian population in polls would condone suicide bombings. If the situation was reversed and it was Israelis being polled, the results would be similar and it'd be understandable why they think that way...

8. By their actions
What has Arafat or the PA done to even slightly curtail suicide bombings or terror. What about those terror groups that answer to Arafat like Fatah?

6. You even replied to the post where she said it...
Her post was deleted, but here's the thread. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=124&topic_id=19432#19443 If you want to keep on accusing me of lying, I can get one of the mods to confirm it if they're inclined to do so. I don't like being accused of lying and btw, I've never accused you of saying something you've never said....

10. Not an acceptable ploy
to suggest a vile solution and pin it on your adversary is a tactic summarily rejected by courts of law.

Do you know what a question is, Gimel? It's commonly asked when someone wants someone elses opinion on something, and that's what I asked. In this case the ONLY thing I said that rini had said was that the Palestinian people glorify murder. I asked the question because rini said in her post that those who glorify murder must be stopped and has indicated in many posts that the use of force by a state is preferable, regardless of whether it's legal or not...

15. Juxtapose 2 quotes for fun
"the axis of al-Qaida terror went through Afghanistan and Iraq to the suicide bombers who perpetrated the 9/11 massacre in New York and Washington."

Bush on Iraq ties to 9/11:

"we have no evidence of that"

Does the JP have evidence that Iraq was involved with 9/11 or do they just make this stuff up?

16. JP
What do you expect from neocon-ish JP? This is no Haaretz, who at least tried to be fair and balanced. I am sure they would claim that Palestinians were also responsible for 9/11 since they're Muslims. And we all know that the "Muslims" did it. Which in their mind makes it a collective guilt thing. Ah...
