"I think the Israeli shelling is easier to deal with",
http://news.usti.net/home/news/cn/?/world.mideast+africa/1/wed/ce/Apalestinians.R7b4_GDK.html

snip> "Others said the internal fighting, which has killed 16 Palestinians, including five civilians, in the past week, is far harder to take than years of Israeli military strikes.

"I think the Israeli shelling is easier to deal with", said 13-year-old Khaled Khatib, who fled a gun battle in his neighborhood Tuesday and saw two children wounded by gunfire. "We are used to the shelling, and we know who the target is." <snip

snip>"Emotions were so pitched that hospitals couldn't place wounded from different factions in the same room for fear of clashes between their relatives. Schools and Gaza City's universities were shuttered, and gunmen guarded Hamas ministries and Abbas' seaside residence and office.

Many said it's the darkest chapter in Gaza's blood-soaked history."<snip

Looks bad. Apparently, the situation is getting worse.

2. By "target"..
...they mean Israelis (eg. easily recognized enemy), but you probably know that deep down.

The only "truth" is that it is easier to deal with strife from without than within.

i know that citizen palestenain especially those in gaza and the Christians in Bethlehem are yearning for the preintifada I days....and are cursing Mr. Arafat and his cronies.....

its been said before from the palestenians in gaza.....at least with israeli strikes they had specific targets and kept to them.....the present situation is complete breakdown of personal security...

4. Apparently, the 'Deep Down'
poster is an expert psychologist who who knows your (Israeli?) true 'deep down' thoughts and feelings. I'm impressed at the self-confidence displayed.
