2. The GOP and bad government
perfect together....

By the way, wonder how many RKBA "enthusiasts" from other states pretended to be from Wisconsin in their phonne calls and e-mails.

3. I was always taught that if you lose
try to do it with grace.

12. When your life revolves around losing, like the Anti RKBA movement does
you tend to become pretty bitter...besides, the anti-gunner group tends not to have to much dignity anyway.

It's -1 F here right now!

Unless where you're at now is colder than that - I'm going to have to ask you to stop supporting this bill in your heart.

11. Are you talking about this? (Aw, come ON!)
"I would ask that everyone that reads this to take a moment and contact the following Democrats in our State Assembly with a brief e-mail asking them for their continued support of SB214. This helps even if you are from another state – because - come on – who doesn’t love tourists?"

a) NOWHERE am I asking people to impersonate a Wisconsin resident or misrepresent where they actually live.

b) My intention when I wrote the little bit about "come on - who doesn't love tourists" was pretty clear I thought - people from other states that visit (or "tour") Wisconsin, have the same freedom to communicate with WI State legislators as Cheese Heads do. In fact, there were acouple of posts where individuals did just that. They said, "Hey - I like Wisconsin. I travel there sometimes. I'd like my Concealed Carry Permit to be valid there when I visit." That's cool with me.

c) If, after reading this, you honestly feel that my intentions were fraudulent, that I was fishing for some type of dishonest SPAMing of those legislators - I will happily go back and edit that folder message to explicitly forbid anyone the reads it from impersonating a Wisconsinite.

Will you urge the RKBA crowd to spam those legislators again and admit they don't live in Wisconsin?

15. No call for fraud
see last line:

"Since they are constantly being swamped with e-mails, feel free to include a brief message, but all they’ll probably read is the subject – so I recommend just placing “SB214 – PLEASE VOTE TO OVERRIDE!” in your e-mail’s subject line and then add your name and address into the message’s body. THANKS!"

16. WI relies in a small part on my dollars as a tourist.
So I emailed several folks and made it VERY clear where I live and that I only visit the state every year.

Failure to override will affect my choice of vacation spots. I am not a cheap tourist.

13. Getting all worked up for nothing
still has to get through the assembly. Right now the pro guns have the 66 votes they need, but anything can happen before it is voted on next tue.

14. I like how they gave a full mentioning of the democrats who voted
Its funny in a way. They mentioned the democrats who voted for it and not the republicans. Maybe they see democrats as anti gun rights???

18. Or maybe
they feel those Democrats sold out...

By the way, they didn't have to mention the Republicans because the full complement of scumbags voted.
