Young Hollister child shot and killed – Two in custody

HOLLISTER
An 18-month-old was shot in the chest and killed this morning at a house in the 2300 block of Shore Road, and authorities have two residents in custody, said Undersheriff Pat Turturici of the San Benito County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's official declined to identify the two people or their relationship to the child.

Authorities responding the rural area outside Hollister about an hour ago found a .357 Magnum outside the house, but haven't verified if it's the weapon used against the victim, Turturici said.
