1. What a Web site!
For people who enjoy sophisticated Web sites, this is a pretty good one.

I tried to view the trailer, though, and couldn't get any sound. anyone else have this problem?

3. Yeah, saw the preview the other day....
looks interesting enough but I'm sure it'll crash and burn with a
lousy script...

4. (Smug smile of self-satisfaction)
I've been talking it up for over a year now.

The script doesn't look too bad, but there's no such thing as a sci-fi film that doesn't get panned.

It should stimulate conversation, and maybe a little bit of action, on what is likely to be the outcome of global warming. And any day now, the skeppers will be picking up on it, assigning the macro that writes "Junk Science" to an empty keystroke, and asking Team Bush's EPA for some Scientists to make some Scientifical statements about how Everything Is Fine and that the Little People should just leave everything to the Professionals and Peer Review.

The irony? I don't think this is entirely an artifact of human industry, although it may have triggered it early. None the less, Team Bush will put on their own smug smiles and continue to deny funding to NOAA for ocean-monitoring buoys to replace the ones we set out for the International Geophysical Year in 1958, but which were off-line by the early 70s.

Cheap insurance is too expensive. The "intelligence" of modern political thought isn't just a snow job, it's the real New Ice Age.
