Monitoring of Radioactive Concentrations in Nearby Sea of Fukushima Daiichi NPS
Includes sampling results of fish from over 100 locations.

So far, radioactive iodine and cesium beyond provisional standards (intake limits) were detected in Sand Lances (sand eels) only. The government told Fukushima Prefecture to suspend shipments of Sand Lances.

A useful training resource for the "Japanese fishing industry is DEAD!!!" crowd.

Do, however, keep in mind that the concentration in water graph on the final page is logarythmic. Some of these values look to be just a bit over some limit when they are in fact WAY over the limit.

Hmmm... I don't suppose one of the "things are still getting WORSE!!!!" ranters can explain the slope of these lines for me?

2. Tap...tap... is this thing on?

What a shocker. Ongoing declines in radiation levels all over Japan (including returns to background levels in most parts of the country) and in the ocean around the plants. Weeks of declining levels to small fractions of original values...

...and nobody is interested?

Quite telling. Hate it when those facts get in the way of a good scare, eh?

We now return you to your regularly scheduled scaremongering.

3. You should have put "Greenpeace" in your title ...
That way you wouldn't need to worry about "those facts" getting in the way.

:hi:

I had nothing to add before now so didn't bother posting - just recommended
the post (for all the good that did) as it was informing rather than
simpy repeating more "TeH SKy iz falLING!" blather.
