A Plea to any videographers willing to apply their creative talents to a short video about the Gulf

I wish I had the talent/skills to do this project as I feel pretty certain it has the potential to significantly broaden awareness of the Gulf disaster at a heart level. And I feel it would be a way to positively and proactively effect change.

The Concept:
Using film and still photography from the Gulf disaster and set to the music of Patty Griffin's new release, All Creatures Of Our God and King (from her Downtown Church CD), document the mounting losses of this remarkable eco-system and all its creatures as it slowly unfolds (as does the song itself).

Fellow DUers can then help to make it go viral.

2. It doesn't take long for Discovery

to make a video and put in on as a show when some celebrity goes bonkers, has sex or drives drunk. Why don't they do a real public service and make one about this. And have you noticed all the ones they used to have about the environment are not being shown like they use to be.
