Oil-rich Gulf states will need nuclear power soon: Analyst

Persian Gulf states will need to build nuclear plants to meet local power needs as the oil- and gas-producing region becomes a major energy consumer, consultant PFC Energy Inc. said yesterday.

"Nuclear will have to become some part of the energy mix in the future for the region," Raja Kiwan, an analyst at PFC, said in a telephone interview from Bahrain. "After the United Arab Emirates, I would guess that Bahrain and Saudi Arabia would most likely be the next to go nuclear."

.......they better save that oil money, cuz we aren't gonna give them nuclear technology cheap.

The Arabian Nuclear Uranium Suppy will be established for us to deposit their purchases of fissile materials in. Once we start selling them nuclear fuel, we will deposit it in their A.N.U.S. and get back some of that money they have been robbing us out of for their oil!
