PEACH BOTTOM TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Monday the NRC revealed the findings of its investigation into sleeping guards at Peach Bottom. Investigators said they uncovered cases where employees were encouraged to hide what was going on and some did so out of fear for their jobs.

"There was a day in time when the NRC had some teeth. Now the NRC inspections are almost invisible," he said.

The former supervisor asked News 8 to conceal his identity and voice. Before leaving Wackenhut, this man oversaw the security force and its training. We sat down to talk him several weeks ago. That's when we he told us about " a culture of fear" inside the plant. On Monday, the NRC confirmed it found some of what he was talking about during its investigation.
