The Clinton Economy - Al Gore's Assist 10th Anniversary - August 6th, 2003
My mother turned 50 the day Al Gore cast the deciding vote to pass the five year deficit reduction plan, 51-50, after passing the house by just 218-216.

OF COURSE, any Vice President of Clinton's would have loyally cast the same vote, but it is still something to celebrate.

4. You Forgot
Military operations threatning Saadam Hussein 3 years before Bush even took office. Clinton was always tough on Saadam and until 9/11 Bush was like "yeah whatever he's kind of a threat". I'm starting to wonder if that if Clinton had been allowed to have a third term if we would've even needed a war in Iraq to get rid of Saadam or get him to disarm.
