Four short years ago, free trade, outsoursing and worker replacement programs were not even an issue. Most people didn't even know what H1B meant. We have won a small victory already, thanks to the Democratic debates. The problems with anti-American trade agreements, outsourcing and worker replacement programs are now a vital part of the 2004 election. Activists in the movement to save American jobs have already reached our first goal: to make congress defend or repent for their past decisions. We have come a LONG way in the last two years. While Nader and his supporters have done NOTHING to help in the enlightenment of a nation, we hard working Democrats have taken under our wings, an issue that was once the cornerstone of the traditional conservatives. After all, is there a more basic right than the right to feed, house and clothe your family?
So while the Nader supporters are busy trashing the Democrats because we are not perfect, we Democrats will continue to fight for American jobs.
Register Democrat and vote for Sharpton, Kerry, Kucinich or Edwards. It really doesn't matter which. What is important now is primary turnout. We have the neocons on the run, no thanks to the Nader malcontents.
