Clark Campaign Statement On President Clinton's Comments

Little Rock-- As reported in the press today, former President Bill
Clinton sent a letter to the prosecutors in the Hague this week,
asserting that General Wesley Clark "carried out the policy of the
NATO alliance, which was to stop massive ethnic cleansing in Kosovo,
with great skill, integrity and iron determination."

Clark Campaign Communications Director Matt Bennett issued the
following statement in response:

"General Clark is grateful to President Clinton for his comments and
for his support in the prosecution of this brutal despot."
