except Call Red Cross. There are so many other great ways to donate, I can't recommend RC after some of the current reports have come out. Otherwise, great job!

8. Thanks! Are they displaying alright for you? And as for Red Cross...

They have the best name recognition, and I thought it was important whenever possible to ask people to help the victims somehow.

Everyone on the right-wing complains, "Oh, the left is exploiting the victims!" But those same people on the right never actually ask, "please send the victims help."

So, I am trying to be sure that I don't just tell people, "Here is how Bush fucked-up," but that I also tell them, "please send help to these people."

This is what separates "us" from "them"-- we actually want to help.

16. At the time I started them, the official estimates were 10,000. But yes...

I should revise the fliers to better reflect the new "official" estimates.

19. Resource realignment....save the victims of Katrina and the future victims

Good people of DU, please donate the money you would spend to go to DC this weekend on the needy suffering from Hurricane Katerina. They need your help. You can make a difference in their life. Their hungry bellies can be full of food, their babies could have clean diapers, and they can drink clean water. If, and only if, you will donate to their cause. This is more important then a march that most likely won’t be covered by the MSM. There are real people suffering that need your help. Also, the media will be focused on Hurricane Rita and not this march. Real people can us those resources…..Please think of them.
