Great Iraq War Protest on my campus
This went up on my campus (UW Eau Claire) in the last couple of days. It is a long rope hung between two light posts, with a clothespin for each US soldier killed in the Iraq War. Thare are also markers at certain points, including "Mission Accomplished" and the recent two-year anniversary. The sight of 1500+ clothespins right in our campus mall is quite powerful and eye-opening. Please feel free to distribute this idea to anyone who might want to follow suit.
