Happy April 11th! (For all of you non-Christians!)
My mother is Jewish (so we celebrate Passover) and my step-father is Catholic (so the only Christian holiday we half-ass celebrate is Christmas - by half ass I mean trees and presents). We tried to celebrate Easter last year but it ended up in disaster, with my step-dad trying to teach my brother and I something about the New Testament and my mom screaming her head off. So, as I see it, this is just another day, except the fact that my parents 9th anniversary is today, and I've wished them a happy anniversary. I was going to see "The Passion" today, but my Jewish friend with Christian parents (he kinda converted) has to do Easter stuff. So, what is everyone doing to celebrate this April 11th?

3. Fun!
Basically, I forgot to add, I've woken up at 6:30 AM to take my dachsund out to do his "business", and went back to sleep until 10. Hopefully if my parents go out tonight I can make some money for watching my brother and sister :P

6. Dances of Universal Peace
Edited on Sun Apr-11-04 05:07 PM by ayeshahaqqiqa
we do the Dances most every Sunday at different locations. This form of moving meditation honors all the world's traditions; we did Dances from the Islamic, Christian, Jewish, and Buddhist traditions today, ending with a Zikar (ceremony of remembrance) and the Healing Dance.
