McCain categorically removed himself from consideration today on NBC's Today show, and also said he would not switch parties. In his words, "It will never happen."

I see no sesne in discussing something that has absolutely ZERO chance of ever happening. :shrug:

Not really. I don't really understand the reasoning behind Dems wanting McCain for VP. I almost supported him in 2000, based on what he was saying in his speeches, but changed my mind quickly when I looked at the position papers on his campaign website. He's not a radical like *, but he IS a republican - through and through.
