Saw the Rick James bit on Chapelle this weekend

I've got to say, it was one of the those brilliant pieces of comedy I've ever seen. I mean--to segue between Charlie Murphy and Rick James--and then the re-enactments--was just great.

Creative, brilliant, low-brow--just perfect.

Oh, why did you edit your post? Come on people. If you can't utter a silly comedy bit without feeling ashamed because of a word you feed into the culture of censorship that Dave's comedy tries so hard to scare.

Besides, you aren't calling anyone a bitch, you are just repeating a word in a comedy bit.

2. Indulging in a bit of parody myself

I think the whole banning idea is ridiculous. I'd hate for us to become a caricature of liberalism.

I was rolling in laughter hearing that. Cutting to the real Rick James was hilarious too--

I saw the Prince one as well, with Prince playing B-Ball and making pancakes. Unreal...

5. I love the basketball game with Prince and his buds.

that was also a great re-enactment. i love the timing.

when they had shown Prince and co. showing up in their feminine club clothes to play b-ball was hilarious. and then to have Prince and co. whoop ass on the court was a riot. And then that quick cut of after the game Prince cooked them pancakes for breakfast was just such a surreal icing of humor. love it love it love it

Charlie Murphy says 'good game' and Prince/Dave C. says something like: 'Pity I can't say the same, bitches!'
