Cell phones just don't seem to work for me. Other people, with the same carrier and living in the same general area, seem to experience much better reception that I ever seem to manage. And this holds true not just with my current phone, but with every single phone I've ever had. I've had Sony-Ericsson, LG, Samsung, and probably a Nokia. It has never mattered.

Sometimes - I just don't get the calls. Then, two days later, the missed call notification will pop up. Hope it wasn't important!

Even when it works, it garbles the sound a little. Sometimes, there is a weird little delay that makes conversation difficult and awkward.

Am I doing something wrong, or does everyone have these problems?

My father had too much static electricity in his body. He couldn't wear a watch for more than a few days before it would stop working.......but after he took it off -- and it was away from his body for a couple days -- it would start working again. He tried every kind of watch imaginable - manual wind, self-winding, battery operated, digital, pocket watches, etc. - and it was the same story with all of them. He finally wound up with a collection that he would just rotate thru as needed.

I used to have the same problem. Even more so when I was emotionally worked up. In recent years as my life has become more peaceful, I rarely have issues anymore, but once upon a time I was a notorious killer of any type of electronic equipment.
