Prom Night for Man-cub.. Plus gratuitous surf pictures..

He is a senior and this is his first prom. We went to his GF's house to take a few pictures of the kids, and meet both parents and vise-versa.
Since she lives very close to my surf spot we took a look at the waves on our way home.

First the kids. This is the first time in years we (actually the GF runs his life now :-) ) were able to get Man-cub in a suit.

Malibu is about 22 miles north across the Santa Monica Bay (center of photo)



Catalina Island is in the back ground about thirty miles to the south



There is a tank farm at the edge of "El Porto", the local name for the surf break at the north end of Manhattan Beach. We always have smaller oil tankers off loading to the Chevron refinery which marks the beginning of El Segundo.
