Check out this web tool for typing written accents in Spanish text

I've never been able to make the AS-whatever code numbers work. This tool lets you type into a box and click a virtual keypad character, then you Copy and Paste your completed text into your e-mail or document.

My other way is to Save the accented characters into a Draft e-mail, Copy the characters into the top of a document and Copy/Paste each individual character when needed. Anything easier? Or can somebody tell me how to make the Alt+numerical codes work, or are they passé (Oooo, I used it!1)?

1. This is cool! I've been wondering how people are able to type the accents.

It's not iPhone-friendly, but I'm bookmarking on my pc.

6. No need for it on an iPhone...

In any app/keyboard... Press and hold a letter and you should see an range of available diacritcs pop-up above your finger... Slide your finger to choose the one you want.
