wtf is up with google or is it just me?

7. I mean, honestly. It's after midnight and this was supposed to be on for 11 PM.

No sirens, no tremors and the lights are still on. I'm looking outside and it is pretty quiet, not much traffic. I thought we were supposed to be in a big mess starting at 11 PM, you know, earthquakes, volcanoes, etc.

Maybe we've all had a mass migration of souls here and this is heaven now. But it's still dark outside.

14. Sounds like you got hijacked.

It's either your search engine or your browser. I have had problems with both earlier this year. See if you have similar problems with Yahoo. If not, search "Google hijack" there. You can find solutions that way. If you have weirdness in Yahoo, as well, your browser was probably the victim. Open a different browser and search "browser hijack". It's a huge pain in the butt to get rid of them. Some of the links your search will turn up may also suggest ways of avoiding future hijackings. CNET.com is a good site, and it should turn up early in your search.

but the google thing sounds like people were getting sent to odd sites, I'm just getting some kind of verification page then it goes to regular google and works fine...???

I think it has something to do with I-Phones.

5 year old desktop on REALLY SLOW dial-up, cell phone is about the same age and I never got a cable to plug it in (still carrying around the first 4 pictures I took with it that I can't send to my e-mail for some weird reason (says too big???)

I do suspect I have some kind of bug, though because most of the time this freaking thing takes longer to get going than an old tube tee vee.
