| Damn, I hate Hermitage Brewery in Mountain View, CA |

I love hoppy beers. And I love ones that aren't just bitter, but have all kinds of florals in their bouquet.
HOWEVER - Hermitage has finally done it. They have made uber-hoppy beers that I can't fucking stand. They all are bitter as fuck - and by that I mean somewhere in the 600+ IBU range And, the florals are not nice florals. They're disturbing, tastes like fresh scotch tape flavors. In the craft brew community, many love these beers. But not me - I just can't stand them.    |
