My God- my Blondie Puppeh Girl just suddenly died.

I don't know what happened- a minute earlier she was on my lap, then she was on the floor doing doggie stuff. I heard two very loud cries, and when I found her a moment later she took one breath and was gone.

I think I need to sit and cry for a while.

do I remember correctly that you haven't had her for very long? What a little sweetie pie she was. She knows she was loved, never doubt that. I'm sorry for your loss and grief. I lost one of my kitty girls like that - she was fine, then there was a loud cry, then she was gone (she was 13 years old, though, and had a tumor in her ear/into her brain - pretty much inoperable - so I wasn't too surprised).

20. I'm sorry you are facing this - but be comforted that she didn't suffer-

WE lost a dog that way a few years back - he lay down to take a nap and just never woke up. Looking back, I realized I'd had that concern in the back of your head you get when something isn't quite right. He'd been slowing down just the tiniest bit - nothing you could put a finger on. Our vet suggested he'd had a tumor which through a clot that killed him. We still tell stories about that dog, but I'm glad he went without pain.

She was extremely cute.

It reminds me of my parents' dog's death a few years ago. She was laying down, when we heard cries, saw her convulsing for a couple of seconds, then she was dead.

It was Easter Sunday, and she had just eaten a plate of scrambled eggs, sausages, and waffles with whipped cream. Not sure if there was a direct causation...maybe.
