1. Excellent work....
love the pencil koala...You're work is timeless...could accent any decor.

I am no artist but I have always been fascinated by Jeffry Hyman's (Joey Ramone) face
so I gave it a try. Don't know if I captured it, but the process was an amazing feeling.

I LOVE the panda's face, and the hummingbird is fantastic! These are all great, I'm jealous, I can't draw to save my life.

Here are two glass pieces I finished in December:

I finished a celtic knot day before yesterday and while I was cleaning it up I dropped it and broke a piece :* because whatever, that's just how I roll.. it can stay broken. Now I'm making a cute little crocus.

30. Well, I can 't draw....
...but I did a bit of photography. Your art is beautiful. I did notice in the bottom three images a marked "barrel distortion" that bends both horizontal and vertical straight lines as the edge of the frame nears. Notice how the two wallpapers and the bricks bend. This is caused by using a wide angle lens and can be cured by using a longer focal length and shooting from farther enough away and matching up your composition.

Thanks again for the art. I stand in awe of such talent.

this work is called 'bound together', it is shown here before firing.

here is 'bound together' after firing. it is made of porcelain and found objects that burn out in the firing.

this work is called 'build the world around them', it is made of fragments of a porcelain sculpture and cast paper, as well as some found objects and ink.

this work is called 'won't take nothin' for my journey now', it is the same materials as the work above.

Sometimes art is like a barometer that tells me it's time to change horses on the crazy-meds merry-go-round.

I don't mind the physical pain so much, but the concussion symptoms are freaky. It's weird sitting here and forgetting what i did ten minutes ago. When i woke up this morning it took me a couple of minutes to remember who and where I was, a very unsettling feeling. Thankfully, the headaches today have been shorter and less frequent than the last couple of days. :)

71. This thread is amazing.
I wonder if FreeRepublic has any artists, and if so, what color crayon they use?

81. A few more Photoshop indulgences:
I took this photo at Canada College in Redwood City and then Photoshopped the daylights out of it. It was a weird little outdoor "folk art" / sculpture gallery. This area is now gone, with a new building standing on the spot:

A very Photoshopped pic of my cat, Seiko:

Self-portrait taken with my old low-grade 1 megapixel cell phone and then Photoshopped:

From a local cemetery, around September 2010 (I previously posted these on DU):

that the universe was put here for them. And they're probably right! Who knows?
